Workshop Series 2019

Our workshop series kicks off on Friday evening, with our keynote presentation Online Selling – The Master Plan: What Roles should Vendors, Sales Reps and Retailers play to keep Brands Strong and Maximize Profits. In this session we discuss topics such as: What is your role in controlling your on-line business, through your own e-commerce as well as 3rd party platforms such as Amazon? How do you maximize these tools for everyone’s benefit? Attend this session to learn about [and how to implement] tools and practices you can use to successfully leverage and control your presence in online markets.

This year we will also bring Museum Retail Buyers and Craftspeople together for a special workshop series. Facilitated by Ari Lowenstein of the American Museum Store Association and Gift Sales Managers Association, we will bring museum shops into focus. Our Saturday & Sunday sessions are free of charge. These sessions are sure to provide useful insights to any type of retail store!

Craft East Buyers’ Expo’s signature Incoming Buyers’ Program will additionally be bringing in museum shop buyers from across the USA this year to visit our trade show and participate in a special museum buyers’ panel talk during the weekend. Our invited guests include buyers from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston (MA), the Detroit Institute of Arts (MI), the Milwaukee Art Museum (WI), the Morgan Library and Museum (NY), the NY Historical Society Museum & Library (NY), the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens (FL) and Shop the Symphony (TX).
