If you are a Producer…
You must be jury-assessed
Jurying is required for participation in Craft Alliance initiatives and projects. Jurying is undertaken by a group of respected craftspeople and industry representatives representing a variety of media and organizations. After you setup your account, you will be required to complete a profile and upload photos of your product line. After your product jurying have been approved, you will have full access to the features of your account type.
Information you should have on hand before you start the sign-up process:
- Your main contact information
- Your company contact information
- Information about your products and the categories you produce within
- Basic sales information (ranges for domestic and export sales)
- Payment and billing information
- Product images and descriptions for jury assessment, for any products intended for the Virtual Marketplace or trade show
If you are a Retailer…
To register for the Craft East Buyers’ Expo and to browse full artist profiles on the site, you are required to register a retailer profile.
Signing up for the Craft Portal as a retailer is a straightforward process, and is FREE of charge. If your store is in a different geographic location than your personal office/home, or you have a seasonal business, please make sure to register using the contact information for the retail location, and appropriate year-round address, as we will use this information to verify that your shop is open and active.
After you set up your profile account, the Craft Alliance may take up to 5 business days to verify your information and grant you full access to the site.

- Your company contact information
- Information about your retail presence and the categories you sell within for trade show registration
