To further develop export markets for Atlantic Canadian craft producers, Craft Alliance will once again lead our CRAFT: Lab – Toronto Incubator Project to attend the Toronto Gift + Home Market trade show in January 2025. This will be a pan-Atlantic mission where Craft Alliance will lead the coordination and development of the project. The project will involve exhibitors from Atlantic Canada looking to expand their sales to Central and Western Canada. The Toronto Gift + Home Market is a wholesale trade show produced by the Canadian Gift Association and is held twice a year in Toronto, Ontario.
We will host 12 Atlantic Canadian craft producers will be selected to participate in a Pavilion Showcase at the TORONTO GIFT + HOME MARKET trade show from JANUARY 26 – 30, 2025. If you are interested, please contact the office, WE ARE EXPECTING A WAIT LIST FOR THE JANUARY SHOW. Participants should arrive in Toronto by Friday, January 24th, 2025, for show set-up. Participants who have previously applied are not guaranteed spaces, as we will work to have a mix of new and established producers in the space. If you have participated 3 times already, you will only be considered if there are cancellations or a space becomes available.

– Membership Access to Can Gift Assoc. (under Craft Alliance as part of the project)
– Participation in a shared Pavilion Showcase Booth
– Hardwall Display with display requirements (ie: walls, shelves, carpet, lighting)
– Promotion in Pavilion Showcase marketing, press kits and online and social media coverage
Pricing for the CanGift 2025 Showcase has increased over previous shows, as booth space and build costs have increased substantially in the past year. For the 2025 shows, we have a new booth design and we have standardized the spaces and all participants will have a similar layout and square footage. There will be three (3) space options with the new booth configuration.
PRICES: The new booth design has 12 individual spaces, in 3 sizes (4 spaces of each dimension), as noted below. Allocations are on a first to apply basis and invitations are based on those who replied to our previous call for expressions of interest, then we will offer general applications.
FEES: BOOTH SPACE FOR January 2025 CanGift – Toronto Gift + Home Market:
We have changed our booth format and requirements for display at the CanGift shows. Fees now include dedicated space, white slatwall display, 10 white shelves per space, carpet, lighting, Image in group co-op ad in InStore magazine, Listing & Image (if space permits), in group co-op ad in CanGift Show Guide. Additional shelves, counters or additional display requirements will be billed separately.
Note: All dimensions are estimated and may differ, based on booth structure and space provided.
$1,250. + HST – SMALL Space: (mid-aisle) – approx. 4.25 ft wide x 8 ft deep
$1,600. + HST – MEDIUM Space: (corners) – approx. 5 ft wide x 8 ft deep, outside corners
$1,800. + HST – LARGE Space: (wide) – approx. 7 ft wide x 8 ft deep
NOTE: The cost of Travel and Shipping of Product Samples, are not covered in this project. Participants may be able to cover some travel costs through provincial funding program within your own province. Additional costs may be incurred for tables, counter space or other fixture requirements. Dedicated electrical service will be charged at current rate, if required. Pavilion Showcase
The image below is representative of our showcase booth at the CanGift at the August 2024 trade show. Counters are not included, but can be ordered at an additional cost. Image shown is for demonstration purposes. The showcase space for January 2025 is double the size of the booth shown in the image below, it will be an 800 sq ft. space that will accommodate up to 12 producers.
Our showcase will be located within the South Building of the trade fair, located in the Congress Centre. Under the project, Craft Alliance will be recruiting 12 Atlantic Canadian companies to participate in the showcase. Each individual participant will receive an allocated space within the showcase booth and the overall showcase space size would be determined by final number of participants signed on to do the event. The showcase space will provide hardwall display, lighting, fixtures and showcase signage, as part of the show costs. Participants would be responsible for their own travel and shipment(s) of product samples to the Toronto Gift + Home Market. Craft Alliance will provide cohesive and coordinated marketing materials and promotional opportunities for the showcase.
