Craft East Buyers’ Expo is a vehicle for the purpose of promoting crafts and giftware manufactured exclusively in the Atlantic Provinces. For two days in February the finest in candles, clothing, food, glass, home decor, jewellery, leather, metal, Indigenous art & craft, paintings, paper, pottery, stone, wood and much more will be gathered at the Homewood Suites/Conference Centre in beautiful downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

PLEASE NOTE: An initial deposit of $200. + HST/GST (15%) is required at the time of application.  Interested craft producers must inquire with the Craft East office about space availability after the deadline has passed.

CRAFT EAST EXPO – CHECKLIST :

– Contact Craft East Office to Ensure Eligibility (new exhibitors only) – jurying is required for new applicants

– Create a Producer Account or login to your online profile

– Complete your Producer profile.

– Select “Projects” from the menu bar, click on Craft East Expo and complete the additional information required for the Expo

– You can pay the initial deposit of $200, or the amount in full.

– If you choose to pay the initial deposit of $200, the balance will be due by the application dates specified

– All exhibitors must complete and sign an Exhibitor Contract, to be sent upon registration confirmation.

ALL Craft East Buyers’ Expo participants receive one (1) full year placement in the Craft East Virtual Marketplace with registration.

Suite Exhibiting – includes hotel suite (3 nights): 
$440.00 (Exhibit Fee) + $410.00 (3 nights hotel stay) + HST
TOTAL: $850.00 + HST

Conference Centre Showcases:

• Standard Booth 8’x8′:  $500.00 (Exhibit Fee) + HST
• Medium Booth 8’x12′:  $740.00 (Exhibit Fee) + HST
• Large Booth 8’x16′:     $985.00 (Exhibit Fee) + HST

Photo Insert in Show Guide:  $60.00 + HST

Please note the Conference Centre booth spaces are very limited and alternate sizes are only available by request; we will do our best to accommodate your needs with the space we have available. Inquire early for alternate space requests.

Emerging Artists – Microbooth in Conference Centre:
5’x5′: $295.00 (Exhibit Fee) + HST  (table top display only)

Craft East Virtual Marketplace:  Your deposit payment for Craft East Buyers’ Expo additionally includes exhibitor presence on the Craft East Virtual Marketplace for the duration of 2022. Learn more about the Virtual Marketplace.

COVID-19 Special Notes & Exhibitor Information

PARTICIPATION  Includes: 

Suite Exhibits: Use of suite for exhibit, display tables available upon advance request for a fee. Room includes kitchenette and living room, size depends on room configuration. Complimentary Hot Buffet Breakfast; Complimentary Wi-fi; Housekeeping Available Upon Request only, due to COVID regulations,  Use of hotel facilities (pool, fitness centre – hotel guidelines must be followed); and  FREE parking for the duration of your stay – parking is subject to availability.  Due to timing and schedule for the buyers expo, a 3 night hotel minimum is required, paid in advance to Craft Alliance. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures from the hotel. Conference Room Exhibits:  Exhibit space in the Conference Centre, white pipe & drape, one draped table & chair, wi-fi, electrical service is included, show guide listing. Details on table sizes will be sent at a later date (standard table size is 6’x2′ but subject to change).

All exhibitors are additionally granted access to the Craft East Exhibitors’ Lounge on Level 2 of Homewood Suites, where we will offer a space to take a breath and enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments throughout the weekend.
