We are excited and pleased to Welcome Exhibitors and Retail Buyers, back to the Craft East Buyers’ Expo for 2022 in Halifax, NS. We recognize the challenges that everyone has faced in 2020 and 2021 and promise to provide a safe, secure environment for everyone to meet, networking and prepare for great things to come in 2022!
Craft East Buyers’ Expo will be returning to the Homewood Suites Hotel & Conference Centre on February 12 & 13, 2022!
Craft East Buyers’ Expo is a vehicle for the purpose of promoting crafts and giftware manufactured exclusively in the Atlantic Provinces. For two days in February the finest in candles, clothing, food, glass, home decor, jewellery, leather, metal, Indigenous art & craft, paintings, paper, pottery, stone, wood and much more will be gathered at the Homewood Suites/Conference Centre in beautiful downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
PLEASE NOTE: An initial deposit of $200. + HST/GST (15%) is required at the time of application. Registration deadline is December 20, 2021. Interested craft producers must inquire with the Craft East office about space availability after the deadline has passed.
CRAFT EAST EXPO – CHECKLIST :
– Contact Craft East Office to Ensure Eligibility (new exhibitors only) – jurying is required for new applicants
– Create a Producer Account or login to your online profile
– Complete your Producer profile.
– Select “Projects” from the menu bar, click on Craft East Expo and complete the additional information required for the Expo
– You can pay the initial deposit of $200, or the amount in full.
– If you choose to pay the initial deposit of $200, the balance will be due by December 31st. An invoice will be sent to you prior to December 27th as a reminder
– All exhibitors must complete and sign an Exhibitor Contract, to be sent upon registration confirmation.
ALL Craft East Buyers’ Expo participants receive one (1) full year placement in the Craft East Virtual Marketplace with registration.

COVID-19 Special Notes & Exhibitor Information
As required by the Province of Nova Scotia and current Public Health Guidelines, Craft Alliance Atlantic has adopted a Proof of Vaccination Policy. All exhibitors and retail buyers will be required to provide proof of vaccination, upon arrival at the Craft East Buyers’ Expo.
We are currently working to create an online process for the purpose of providing a proof of vaccination attestation and also proper contract tracing, which will be shared soon. Craft East Buyers’ Expo has developed a comprehensive COVID Event Plan, which includes; directional signage, directional wayfinding, sanitizing and cleaning protocols. Current regulations (Nov. 2021), require that masks must be worn for indoor events, such as the Craft East Buyers’ Expo.
We will be monitoring all public health guidelines as we move forward and will make adjustments accordingly. As most exhibitors are aware, COVID guidelines can change, at any given time. We are hoping that the current COVID guidelines improve by the time the February event is here.
Suite Exhibits: Use of suite for exhibit, display tables available upon advance request for a fee. Room includes kitchenette and living room, size depends on room configuration. Complimentary Hot Buffet Breakfast; Complimentary Wi-fi; Housekeeping Available Upon Request only, due to COVID regulations, Use of hotel facilities (pool, fitness centre – hotel guidelines must be followed); and FREE parking for the duration of your stay – parking is subject to availability. Due to timing and schedule for the buyers expo, a 3 night hotel minimum is required, paid in advance to Craft Alliance. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures from the hotel. Conference Room Exhibits: Exhibit space in the Conference Centre, white pipe & drape, one draped table & chair, wi-fi, electrical service is included, show guide listing. Details on table sizes will be sent at a later date (standard table size is 6’x2′ but subject to change).
All exhibitors are additionally granted access to the Craft East Exhibitors’ Lounge on Level 2 of Homewood Suites, where we will offer a space to take a breath and enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments throughout the weekend.
