FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Craft Alliance is pleased to announce that we will be participating in the upcoming Collect Art Fair UK to be presented in London, UK from February 26 – March 2, 2025.

“This is an incredible opportunity to present contemporary fine craft makers from Atlantic Canada at this prestigious International art fair for contemporary craft and design,” said Bernard Burton, Executive Director of Craft Alliance Atlantic.

Collect: the leading international fair for contemporary craft and design is presented by Craft Council UK and is considered the premier exhibition of contemporary craft globally and attracts a broad audience and collectors from around the world.

Craft Alliance will present 18 contemporary makers from across Atlantic Canada.  The exhibition selection was determined through an initial call for entry in spring 2024, at which point a jury selected makers and works to be presented to the Collect Art Fair jury for their consideration. As a result of the Collect jury, a final exhibition group was selected and will be presented at Collect in 2025.

Contemporary craft makers selected for Collect include; from New Brunswick – Brigitte Clavette, Darren Emenau, Gordon Sparks, Ralph Simpson and Alanna Baird. From Nova Scotia – Kye-Yeon Son, Heather Pitts, Nancy Oakley, Pam Ritchie, Emma Piirtoniemi, Elise Campbell, Teresa Bergen and Debra Kuzyk.   From Prince Edward Island – Rilla Marshall Lucus MacDonald and Isako Suzuki. From Newfoundland & Labrador – Susan Furneaux and Anastasia Tiller.
