NY NOW Digital Market – Summer 2021

To further develop export markets for Atlantic Canadian craft producers, Craft Alliance will support companies to participate in the NY NOW Digital Market in August 2021. The project will involve export-ready craft producers from Atlantic Canada looking to expand their sales to the United States. NY NOW is a wholesale trade show produced by Emerald Expositions and held twice a year in New York. This will be the third digital event held by the organizers, and will be held in conjunction with an in-person trade show at the Javits Centre, NYC.

Craft Alliance will support at least 5 Atlantic based-craft producers to exhibit at the NY NOW Digital Market based in New York, NY, from August 5-13 2021. We are recruiting export ready, production-oriented craft producers from the region to exhibit in this digital showcase. Deadline to apply is July 9; this project must have minimum 5 accepted companies to go ahead. Please contact Bernard (bernard@craftalliance.ca) to confirm your interest; the funding will be confirmed once the project meets its minimum requirement for participating exhibitors. 

This project is funded through the ACOA – Business Development Program (BDP) which supports exhibitors for 75% of digital booth fees. Exhibitors can also receive support for 50% of expenses for NY NOW-provided marketing opportunities. Exhibitors must be accepted by NY NOW before their funding can be confirmed. Participants must complete a detailed Producer Profile on our site and two follow-up surveys after the trade show is complete.
