Craft East Buyers’ Expo is a vehicle for the purpose of promoting crafts and giftware manufactured exclusively in the Atlantic Provinces. For two days in February the finest in candles, clothing, food, glass, home decor, jewellery, leather, metal, native, paintings, paper, pottery, stone, wood and much more will be gathered at the Homewood Suites & Conference Centre in beautiful downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Craft Alliance is currently accepting expressions of interest from Atlantic craft producers seeking to exhibit at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, this coming July 10-14, 2019.
The July Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Markets attract the industry’s largest and most powerful retailers plus thousands (and thousands) of specialty stores from all 50 states and 84 countries from around the world.
Craft Alliance will lead a small group of 6-8 Atlantic based craft producers to attend the NY NOW trade show in New York, NY, from August 11-15, 2019. NY NOW is a 5 day trade show with set-up and travel days included in the project. Each individual participant will receive assistance for booth costs and related expenses under the project. Participants are responsible for their own travel and shipments of product samples to the NY NOW show. Craft Alliance will provide cohesive and coordinated marketing materials and promotional opportunities and an educational component pre-show.
To further develop export markets for Atlantic Canadian craft producers, Craft Alliance will once again lead our CRAFT: Lab – Toronto Incubator Project to attend the Toronto Gift + Home Market trade show in August 2019. This will be a pan-Atlantic mission where Craft Alliance will lead the coordination and development of the project. The project will involve exhibitors from Atlantic Canada looking to expand their sales to Central and Western Canada. The Toronto Gift + Home Market is a wholesale trade show produced by the Canadian Gift Association and is held twice a year in Toronto, Ontario. (Previously known as the Toronto Gift Fair)
Approximately 5-8 Atlantic Canadian craft producers will be selected to participate in a Pavilion Showcase at the Toronto Gift + Home Market in August 2019. This project will fill quickly; applications should be completed and forwarded to Craft Alliance immediately.
