To further develop export markets for Atlantic Canadian craft producers, Craft Alliance is returning with CRAFT: Lab – Toronto Incubator Project to attend the TORONTO GIFT FAIR trade show in August 2018. This will be a pan-Atlantic mission where Craft Alliance will lead the coordination and development of the project. The project will involve NEW first-time exhibitors from Atlantic Canada looking to expand their sales to Central and Western Canada. The TORONTO GIFT FAIR is a wholesale trade show produced by the Canadian Gift Association and is held twice a year in Toronto, Ontario.
Approximately 6-10 Atlantic Canadian craft producers will be selected to participate in a Pavilion Showcase at the TORONTO GIFT FAIR trade show in August 2018. This project will fill quickly; applications should be completed and forwarded to Craft Alliance immediately.
Craft Alliance will lead a small group of 6-8 Atlantic based craft producers to attend the NY NOW trade show in New York, NY, from August 12-15, 2018. NY NOW is a 4 day trade show with set-up and travel days included in the project. Each individual participant will receive assistance for booth costs and related expenses under the project. Participants are responsible for their own travel and shipments of product samples to the NY NOW show. Craft Alliance will provide cohesive and coordinated marketing materials and promotional opportunities and an educational component pre-show.
Craft Alliance will lead a trade mission project to New York to attend the NY NOW Trade Show, August 12-15 2018. We are seeking export-ready craft producers from Atlantic Canada that would have interest in attending NY NOW in 2019 as exhibitors.
Our participants will have the opportunity to visit the show, observing booths from established sellers and gaining important knowledge relating to exhibiting in a major USA trade show.
