Craft East Buyers’ Expo is a vehicle for the purpose of promoting crafts and giftware manufactured exclusively in the Atlantic Provinces. For two days in February the finest in candles, clothing, food, glass, home decor, jewellery, leather, metal, Indigenous art & craft, paintings, paper, pottery, stone, wood and much more will be gathered in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

IF you already have an active profile on the Craft Alliance portal, you can select your Booth or Suite type, photo insert for show guide and other choices, from the MAKE A SELECTION drop down list on the right ide of the page.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure you are logged into the portal, in your business profile, before registering.

CRAFT EAST BUYERS’ EXPO – CHECKLIST :

• Contact Craft East Office to Ensure Eligibility (new exhibitors only) – Product Review is required for new applicants
• Create a Producer Account or login to your online profile
• Complete your Producer profile.

Select “Projects” from the menu bar, click on Craft East Expo and complete the additional information required for the Expo

• You can pay the initial deposit of $250, or the amount in full. (prior to deadline only)
• If you choose to pay the initial deposit of $250, the balance will be due by the application dates specified
• Exceptions to deposits include Micro-Spaces, Extra Hotel Nights, Shared Hotel Suites and Photo Inserts, which all must be paid in full at booking.
• All exhibitors must complete and sign an Exhibitor Contract, to be sent upon registration confirmation.

ALL Craft East Buyers’ Expo participants receive one (1) full year placement in the Craft East Virtual Marketplace with registration.

EXHIBITOR PRICING FOR 2025: Craft East Buyers’ Expo

Pricing for Craft East 2025 is now live on our portal.  You must have a completed and approved business profile on the portal, in order to register for any Craft Alliance projects or trade shows. 

Suite Exhibiting – includes hotel suite (3 nights): Only 1 Business Exhibiting. Shared Suites are permitted, however, both businesses must be approved and listed on the portal.  There is a separate additional fee for shared Suites.

Extra Hotel Nights (early arrival on or late departure, can be booked online, select Extra Hotel Nights from the drop down list). Extra Rooms nights are billed at current rates per room/per night   $160.+ HST). Please book online and confirm at time of registration.

Note: Shared Suites – An additional charge of $395. + HST – applies for more than one business per Suite. Suites are limited to a maximum of two companies sharing. You must have your shared Suite partner identified, prior to registration. The MAIN Suite Exhibitor should register first, following by the producer who is sharing the Suite. Craft Alliance does not arrange or coordinate shared suites. Shared Suites Fees must be PAID in Full at time of Registration.

Conference Centre Showcases:  PRICING FOR 2025 is noted below based on booth size

• Standard Booth 8′ x 8′:   $595.  (Exhibit Fee) + HST  — SOLD OUT
• Medium Booth 8′ x 12′:   $870.  (Exhibit Fee) + HST  — SOLD OUT
• Large Booth 8′ x 16′:       $1,150.  (Exhibit Fee) + HST — SOLD OUT
• Suite Exhibit:                    $1,000.  (Exhibit Fee + 3 nights Hotel included) + HST  — LIMITED SUITES AVAILABLE
• Micro Space –  NEW Emerging Producer Spaces – see details below  —  SOLD OUT

Photo Insert in Show Guide:   $60. + HST  (see show guide online for example)

Please note the Conference Centre booth spaces are very limited and alternate sizes are only available by request; we will do our best to accommodate your needs with the space we have available, though it is not guaranteed.  Inquire early for alternate space requests.

Emerging Artists – Micro Booth Spaces.  A limited number of spaces will be made available with priority given to emerging makers. These are small table top displays, approx. 5′ x 5′ feet. First time exhibitors only.   $395. + HST, due at time of Registration – must have completed profile online to apply.

Craft East Virtual Marketplace:  Your deposit payment for Craft East Buyers’ Expo additionally includes exhibitor presence on the Craft East Virtual Marketplace for the duration of 2025. Learn more about the Virtual Marketplace.

Participation Includes: 

Suite Exhibits: Use of suite for exhibit, display tables available upon advance request for a fee. Room includes kitchenette and living room, size depends on room configuration. Complimentary Hot Buffet Breakfast; Complimentary Wi-fi; Housekeeping Available Upon Request only, see exhibitor kit for details.  Use of hotel facilities (pool, fitness centre – hotel guidelines must be followed). Overnight Parking is available for a Fee – $20/day; Parking is subject to availability.  Due to timing and schedule for the buyers expo, a 3 night hotel minimum is required, paid in advance to Craft Alliance. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures from the hotel. Conference Room Exhibits:  Exhibit space in the Conference Centre, white pipe & drape, one draped table & chair, wi-fi, electrical service is included, show guide listing. Details on table sizes will be sent at a later date (standard table size is 6’x2′ but subject to change).

All exhibitors are additionally granted access to the Craft East Exhibitors’ Lounge on Level 2 of Homewood Suites #207, where we will offer a space to take a breath and enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments throughout the weekend.

Hotel Suites come in two configurations: We cannot guarantee Suite selection. Priority is given to previous exhibitors on a first to apply process.
