Craft East Buyers’ Expo is a vehicle for the purpose of promoting crafts and giftware manufactured exclusively in the Atlantic Provinces. For two days in February the finest in candles, clothing, food, glass, home decor, jewellery, leather, metal, native, paintings, paper, pottery, stone, wood and much more will be gathered at the Homewood Suites/Conference Centre in beautiful downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
PLEASE NOTE: An initial deposit of $200. + HST/GST (15%) is required at the time of application. Registration deadline is October 18. Interested parties must inquire with the Craft East office about space availability after the deadline has passed. The balance of participation fees are due in full on December 2.
CRAFT EAST EXPO – CHECKLIST:
- Contact Craft East Office to Ensure Eligibility (new exhibitors only)
- Create a Producer Account or login to your online profile
- Complete online Business Profile, Upload Images, Price List & Catalogue
- Select “Projects” from the menu bar, click on Craft East Expo and complete the additional information required for the Expo
- You can pay the initial deposit of $200, or the amount in full.
- If you choose to pay the initial deposit of $200, the balance will be due by December 2. An invoice will be sent to you prior to December 2 as a reminder
ALL Atlantic Canadian Craft East Buyers’ Expo participants receive one (1) full year subscription to the web portal as part of your Expo registration. (Please note that Guest Artisans do not qualify for Web Portal public profiles)

2019 Pricing for Craft East Buyers’ Expo Atlantic Exhibitors:
Suite Exhibiting – includes hotel suite (3 nights):
$435.00 (Exhibit Fee) + $410.00 (3 nights hotel stay) + HST
TOTAL: $845.00 + HST
Hotel Suite Sharing * – $350 + HST
Conference Centre Showcases:
Standard Booth: $490.00 (Exhibit Fee) + HST
1.5x Booth: $735.00 (Exhibit Fee) + HST
2x Booth: $980.00 (Exhibit Fee) + HST
Emerging Artists – Microbooth in Conference Centre:
$285 (Exhibit Fee) + HST
*You may choose to share a suite exhibit with another producer. In this case, one of the producers must be responsible for booking the entire suite. Please contact the Craft East Office to confirm eligibility before booking the Hotel Suite Sharing option. Please note also that sharing a suite does not guarantee a room with two beds – Craft East show management will do their best to help find a room that is suitable to your needs.
Participation cost includes:
Suite Exhibits: Use of suite for exhibit, display tables available upon request. Room includes kitchenette and living room, size depends on room configuration. Complimentary Hot Buffet Breakfast; Complimentary Wi-fi; Housekeeping each morning before expo opens; Use of hotel facilities (pool, fitness centre); and parking at an additional cost, if required. Due to timing and schedule for the expo, a 3 night hotel minimum is required, paid in advance to Craft Alliance. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures from the hotel. Conference Room Exhibits: exhibit space in the Conference Centre, white pipe & drape, tables & chairs (if required), wi-fi, electrical service is included.
All exhibitors are additionally granted access to the Craft East Exhibitors’ Lounge on Level 2 of Homewood Suites, where we will offer a space to take a breath and enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments throughout the weekend.
