Craft Alliance Atlantic Association

Digital Marketing and Literacy Consultant
Summer Intern Position

Craft Alliance Atlantic Association has a mandate to provide marketing opportunities for Atlantic Provinces producers of quality craft, apparel and giftware products, to encourage entry into wholesale and export markets and to enhance the professionalism, education and advancement of the above sectors in Atlantic Canada. In response to the current global crisis, our current focus is on how to make use of available digital technologies (especially online platforms for sales and marketing) to help grow the craft industry on a regional level and enable our clients to reach national and international audiences.

The student may work in coordination with our network of craft organizations across Atlantic Canada to share information and focus efforts. This is a great opportunity to directly apply knowledge being gained in a post-secondary program, and to learn about the bustling craft industry in Atlantic Canada.

Support Craft Alliance’s digital content creation efforts, contributing through research, content development (writing & designing) and developing digital marketing assets to support dissemination.

Consult with Craft Alliance clients to respond to community concerns and provide knowledge and direction for their digital marketing efforts (ie. sharing knowledge of digital sales platforms, guidance for social media engagement, etc.)
